I've been thinking of a name for my blog. "Kristi Maas" is a bit boring and unimaginative. Jeff, my husband, suggested "KrisMaas all year" or something like that which is really cute, but then it suddenly hit me.
A very dear friend, we'll call him "Joel", and 18 year old that I have somehow "adopted", is at boot camp. He called me the other day to ask that I write him as much as possible, actually, his request was for everyday. He needed to hear about normal because boot camp is such a culture shock.
In my most recent letter to Joel, I said, well, I guess this is just a "letter from normal". This is most likely not original, but I liked it. So this chapter in my blog life will be: "Letters from Normal."
